Creating a Customer Return

You can create a customer return from a Sales Order.

Note:

The associated sales order shipment status must be Fulfilled or Partially Shipped before you can create a customer return.

Creating a New Customer Return

To create a customer return from a sales order:

  1. On the sales order header section click Create Customer Return in the quick action drop-down list.
  2. Select the Return Warehouse from the lookup.
  3. Enter the e mail address the customer return is to be confirmed to.
  4. Select the Reason For Return from the drop-down list.
  5. Select the Return Action from the drop down list.
  6. Select the inspection requirement from the drop-down list.
  7. Add any notes associated with the customer return in the Internal Notes field
  8. Click Save.

Once you save your customer return, you can create customer return lines from the sales order lines on the initial sales order. For more information, see Creating Customer Return Lines.
